The Public Services Agency (PSA) has launched a new version of the system for scheduling beforehand for law units registration and licensing services. The new system is connected to the governmental authentication and access control service MPass and allows to identify the applicant for services and to pre-fill out personal data, such as the IDNP, name, surname, e-mail, and telephone, IPN reports.

Both individuals (based on IDNP) and legal entities (based on IDNO) can schedule an appointment for the registration and licensing of legal units. Previously, the system allowed only a natural person to be an applicant for such services. Thus, legal entities could be represented at the counter by individuals empowered by the company, with a power of attorney or an MPower representative document.

According to the PSA, the introduction of this option will help exclude illicit appointments made by unauthorized intermediaries and, consequently, increase the number of places available for appointments. Thus, by freeing the places reserved in advance, the number of people served based on prior appointment will increase, and the waiting time for appointment will be reduced.

For authenticated legal entities, the new version of the system will send informative notifications regarding any restrictions imposed on the company. The information will be sent only to the administrator of the company registered for the appointment. The notifications are for information purposes only. The scheduling procedure can be concluded regardless of whether or not restrictions are applied.

The new version gives users the opportunity to cancel an appointment. Currently, to cancel an appointment, citizens must call the PSA Customer Support Service (14 909). Previously, most citizens who gave up PSA services for particular reason did not cancel their appointment, which generated an artificial increase in the queue for the registration and licensing of legal units.

The new system presents real-time data on the flow of citizens served in the multifunctional centers. Thus, citizens will be able to see the real number of people and, depending on the information, the applicant could select the multifunctional center where to go to receive the necessary services.
