New TV channel to appear in Moldova

A new music TV channel obtained a license to broadcast on the media market of Moldova. It will air western and national music produced 20-30 years ago as well as new music, the channel’s director Victor Cuperclac has told Info-Prim Neo. In a meeting of the Broadcasting Coordination Council, Victor Cuperclac said the new channel - Gold TV - will broadcast mainly the golden hits of the 1980-1990s. Besides songs, there will be transmitted music programs and programs about music. The persons aged 30 and over are the channel’s target audience. ”There are other music TV channels in Moldova now, but each of them has its own genre and public,” stated Victor Cuperclac. He could not say when exactly the TV channel will be launched, but stressed that it will happen in the nearest future.
