The parliamentary group of the Communist Party (PCRM) has three new members. The Constitutional Court Thursday validated the seats of three substitute candidates on the PCRM’s list, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The new lawmakers are: Mihail Mocanu, 49, who is a jurist, politologist and the chairman of the Afghan War Veterans Union; Igor Vremea, 38, who is a jurist, Doctor of Law, and a member of the Central Election Commission, and mathematician Ion Ceban, 31, who heads the cabinet of the Deputy Speaker. All the three MPs live in Chisinau.
As Igor Vremea entered Parliament, the PCRM will have to field a new candidate for the post of member of the Central Election Commission because the two positions are incompatible.
