A fault in the overhead contact line network at the intersection of the streets A. Pushkin and București in Chisinau made trolleybuses remain stuck for over half an hour on Tuesday morning.
The Chisinau Electric Transport Company has told IPN that the incident occurred due to the rupture of a contact cable. Incident response teams are working at the scene.
The accident disrupted the movement of trolleybuses in the area. Trolleybuses No. 7, 12 and 25 are now running up to Columna St. Trolleybuses No. 2 are being diverted onto the streets P. Halippa - str. Ismail, while the trolleybuses running on routes No. 10 and 24 – onto the streets București - str. A. Shchusev - M. Viteazul.
The delays on the given routes are of up to 20 minutes.
