Negotiations at Moscow upon the Transnistran Dispute

Mediators and observers at the negotiations upon the Transnistrain Conflict will meet on Wednesday, April 19, at Moscow were negotiations for settling the conflict in “3+2” format will take place.
The Ukarinian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anderi Veselovski declared at the end of the last week that the sides try to ensure such conditions so at Moscow could be obtained solid results. As well, he said at the negotiations will be adopted a consolidate decision that would approach the two sides involved in the conflict.
The special missions’ ambassador of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Valeri Nesteruskin declared on Monday, April 17, that at the meeting the mediators and observers intend to find out joint solutions for solving the situation from the Transnistraian region. “The main problem is to analyze the situation that already exists and to try finding possible initiatives that would contribute to the settlement for the situation from Transnistria, declared the Ambassador.
The last negotiation round in ‘5+2” format upon the Transnistrian conflict took place on February 27-28. The negotiations where then interrupted because of “not identyifing a compromise solution”, especially regarding the Dorotcaia Crisis. The next round, according to some preliminary agreements between the mediators and observers was to take place on April 4-5 but the sides didn’t come to an agreement.
