The men’s basketball team of Moldova ranked 22nd or last at the European Championships, Division B, held in Sofia, (Bulgaria), IPN reports.
In the last match, Moldova was beaten by Armenia 66-75. Denis Savca scored the largest number of points, 22. Earlier in the championship, Moldova lost to Albania (66-139), Estonia (40-91), Slovenia (44-135), Bulgaria (59-92), Slovakia (58-100) and Azerbaijan (56-121).
The competition was won by Poland, which won against Slovenia 71-60 in the final.
