National U-19 football team leaves for St. Petersburg

The national Under 19 football team of Moldova went to Russia’s Sankt Petersburg to take part in a competition in memory of Valentin Granatkin. They will play the first game on January 3, against the hosts of the tournament.

On January 5, the team trained by Ghenadie Pusca will play against Estonia, while on January 7 against Slovenia.

The 16th competition in memory of Valentin Granatkin involves 16 national squads. It closes on January 12. The matches will be played on artificial lawn in the hall.

The lineup of Moldova:

Goalkeepers: Nicolai Cebotari (Real Succes Chisinau), Emil Timbur (Zimbru Chisinau);

Fullbacks: Valeriu Osipenco (FC Costuleni), Vladislav Satalchin, Serghei Svinarenco (both Sheriff Tiraspol), Vadim Crudu (Zimbru Chisinau), Daniel Gustiuc (Dacia Chisinau), Fiodor Andriuhin (Olimpia Balti);

Halfbacks: Denis Golubev, Valeriu Macritski, Andrei Macritski, Artiom Zabun (all Sheriff Tiraspol), Andrei Rusnac (Academia Chisinau), Veaceslav Zagaevschi, Sergiu Berestean (both Zimbru Chisinau), Vadim Bejenari (Real Succes Chisinau);

Strikers: Alexandr Curteian (FC Rusi, Russia), Cristian Cucovei (Zimbru Chisinau).
