The national Under 18 football team of Moldova suffered defeats in all the three matches played at the Winter Youth Tournament in Tel-Aviv. In the last game, the ‘tricolors’ were demolished by Israel 0-7, IPN reports.
Earlier, the national team was beaten by Germany 1-3 and Serbia 0-5. The only goal for Moldova in the tournament was scored by Eugen Oancea, with a penalty.
At the beginning of next year, the Under 18 squad will take part in the 16th international tournament “Valentin Granatkin” that will be held in Sankt-Petersburg on January 3-12. Moldova is in a group with Slovenia, Estonia and Russia.
