The national rugby team of Moldova lost the second match of the current qualifying competition of the Rugby Europe Championship, Trophy Division, to the squad of Poland 0-13 away, IPN reports.
At the start of the match played in Gdansk, Poland was awarded a penalty and profited from this. In the 11th minutes, the hosts scored a try through Mateusz Plichta. Even if the score was 0-10 before the break, Moldova didn’t give up and tried to recover. Igor Misin, Ion Kopitov and Mihai Gheorghies had occasions for scoring. Towards the end of the game, Radu Cibotaru was shown a yellow card.
On November 25, Moldova is to play against Switzerland in Orhei, starting at 1:15pm.
