The National Olympic Committee of Moldova holds the Olympic EcoFest on September 24. It aims to promote sports and education on environment for young people and to underline the sports organization’s commitment to solve environmental problems. The event’s motto is “We do sport in a clean environment”, IPN reports.
The Olympic EcoFest starts at 10am, when the Cup “Golden Canoe: Juravski – Reneiski” will be kicked off. After warm-up exercises at 10:10am, the running race will follow, at 10:30am. The event includes tree planting activities.
Until 6pm, there will be held sports events, such as dances, fitness, table tennis, demonstrative races and Dragon-boat trips, yacht laser, academic canoeing, zumba, a painting contest, lawn tennis, and badminton.
The Olympic EcoFest will take place in the Park “Valea Morilor” in Chisinau.
