An exhibition by the famous Romanian artist Carmen Marin, entitled “Towards Primordiality”, was mounted at the National Museum of Arts of Moldova. This is open to the public until April 30. Entrance is free of charge. The visitors will be able to admire 22 paintings through which the artist explores aspects of the human nature, going beyond the linguistic borders between figuration and abstraction, body and mind, visible and invisible, IPN reports.

To do these works, Carmen Marin cooperated with such personalities from the field of arts as Raphy Sarkissian, a teacher at the New York School of Visuals Arts, and Vladimir Bulat, famous historian and art critic.

Carmen Marin is a graduate of the Bucharest National University of Arts. She distinguished herself first when she was a student by personal and group exhibitions in Romania and abroad. Her constant presence in the national and international artistic world in 2004 earned her the Lausanne Arts Prize (Switzerland).

The exhibition is part of the cultural project “Romanian Visual Arts in the Republic of Moldova” that aims to promote Romanian artists and cultural values in the Republic of Moldova. The exhibition was staged with the assistance of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova.
