The National Library of the Republic of Moldova organizes the thematic exhibition "Literary journeys in the light of traditional winter holidays". According to the representatives of the institution, the exhibition aims to promote the works of Romanian classic and contemporary authors presenting the traditions of winter holidays, as well as children's books, postcards and greeting cards representing winter holidays and national traditions, IPN reports.
The exhibition also includes new publications, including Buzu Teodor's "Home in the World", Tamara Cusciug's "Carols and Star Song - Roots and Traditions", Cotidianul, the calendar and family traditions in the villages of the "Orheiul vechi" cultural and natural reserve, as well as postcards for the winter holidays by Alionei Bereghici and Valeriu Turea.
The exhibition is open until January 15.
