The National Library also has the poet’s works translated into other languages. These books were transmitted by other libraries with which we cooperate,” National Library director Elena Pintilei stated for IPN.
Grigore Vieru’s poems were also put to verses. “The National Audio-Library exhibited also the collection of CDs with songs on his verses. Each time, we also exhibit volumes about Grigore Vieru’s works signed by our critics,” said Elena Pintilei.
The National Library has cooperated with other libraries in bringing back home the works of national authors edited abroad. It goes to the book stock Moldavistica. There were brought volumes from Ukraine and other post-Soviet republics and also from Canada, the United States. There are also volumes printed in Romania.
