The national futsal team of Moldova lost the first match of the second qualifying round of the 2016 Would Championship. It was beaten by Slovakia’s squad 3-1, IPN reports.
The goal for Moldova was scored by Sergiu Lascu, from a penalty kick. On December 11, the team trained by Vladimir Vusatyi plays the second match of Group 7, against Italy, which is the host of the mini-tournament.
In the third match on December 13, Moldova meets Macedonia. The top two ranked teams of the group qualify for the playoff round.
