The national futsal team of Moldova suffered the second defeat in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Futsal EURO 2018. Moldova lost to the host of the mini-tournament, Poland, 2-4, IPN reports.

Moldova was leading by 1-0 following the goal scored by goalkeeper Nicolae Neagu. Poland drew in only 4 minutes. Moldova’s Andrian Lascu scored in the 15th minute, but the hosts scored again before the break and then after it.

On April 11, the team trained by Vladimir Vusatyi meets Serbia, which finished fourth in the last European Championships. The winners of the seven qualifying groups go through to the final. Also, the teams ranked second and the best team ranked third compete for a place in the UEFA Futsal EURO.
