The national football team of Moldova has scored no victory during 11 matches. On June 9, Moldova drew 0-0 a friendly with Luxemburg away, IPN reports.

It was a test before the June 14 match against Liechtenstein, which forms part of the qualifying rounds of the 2016 European Championship. Epureanu, Cojocari and Boghiu missed the biggest chances of scoring. Moldova manager Alexandru Curteian could not summon Ionita, Andronic and Golovatenko, who were injured.

“It was a useful game before the encounter with Liechtenstein. I could test a number of young players. We made effort to impose the rhythm and play at speed,” Alexandru Curteian told a news conference. Cociuc and Milinceanu made their debut for the national team in the match against Luxemburg.
