The process of implementing the public administration reform will be coordinated by a Council whose nominal composition and the regulations governing its activity were approved by the Government on September 9, IPN reports.
The Council will consist of nine persons who will represent the Government and Parliament. Prime Minister Valeriu Strelet will head it.
The Council will coordinate and monitor the activity of the Parity Commission for Decentralization, the National Council for Coordinating Regional Development and the sector councils for coordinating foreign assistance in the area of public administration. It will also work out policies on the public administration reform, reformation of public services and administrative decentralization.
