The national boxing team of Italy is training in Hancesti town in Moldova. In the evening of March 16, the squad trained at a fitness hall in Chisinau.
The national teams of Italy and Moldova are preparing for the European Under-22 Boxing Championships that will take place in Romania’s Targu Jiu between March 24 and April 2. Also, during April 17-26, Italy will host the European Under-18 Championships.
“It is important to prepare for the European Championships outside Italy too. It is a useful training session for us,” the coach of the Italian team Danien Zdrinca has told IPN.
“It is definitely productive training as we train together with boxers who medalled at the European Championships. We expect we will win medals at the European Championships,” said Moldova coach Igor Untila.
