The national youth team of Moldova suffered the first defeat in the 2015 European Championship qualifiers. In the first match, Alexandru Kurteyan’s pupils lost to Wales away 0-1, IPN reports.
The opponents assailed from the very beginning of the game and opened the score in the 10th minute through Manchester United striker Tom Lawrence. Goalkeeper Alexei Koshelev prevented many goals from being scored. In the 72th minute, Moldova’s Constantin Bogdan was sidelined after being shown two yellow cards.
