Natalia Prishchepa ranked fourth at the European Weightlifting Championships that are held in Croatia. She lifted 218 kg in all, by 34 kg fewer than gold medalist Lidia Valentin from Spain, IPN reports.
In the 75 kg class, Prishchepa finished sixth in snatch with the result of 98 kg and fifth in clean and jerk with the result of 120 kg. In the previous European Championships, Natalia won three bronze medals.
Iurie Dudoglo is the only Moldovan who won a medal at the European Championships in Croatia. He became European vice champion in the 56 kg class.
