Natalia Morari, an independent presidential election candidate, said that she voted for a change that every citizen deserves, whether they live in the country or abroad, and for a President who respects the laws and the Constitution, IPN reports.
Natalia Morari came to the polling station together with her mother, son and brother. “I voted for a new Moldova from which you don’t want to leave and to which you want to return,” said the candidate.
She also said she expects that this election will not be rigged, especially in the diaspora, because there are many such signals.
All voting-eligible citizens of the Republic of Moldova can exercise their right to vote at the almost 2,000 polling stations established in the country, by 09:00 p.m. The electoral office can yet decide to extend the set deadline by at most two hours for the electors standing in a line to manage to vote.
