A number of trade outlets in the capital are still cooking and selling oriental foods, despite the bans imposed by the sanitary doctors. A statement in this regard was made at the City Hall’s sitting on Monday, January 29, by the head of Municipal Centre for Preventive Medicine (MCPM) Iurie Panzaru, Info-Prim Neo reports.
As Panzaru says, the sanitary doctors have carried out a series of sudden raids on weekend. They found that such food goods have been sold on Alba Iulia street, 174, Alecu Russo street, 2, Dacia Blvd, 44.
As Panzaru states, the sanitary doctors’ prescriptions are completely ignored by economic entities that enjoy the protection of certain municipal officials, the quoted source says. He asserts that without the police’s and relevant municipal services’ help, MCPM will not be able to carry out its tasks, as the economic entities will continue their activity as they did before. If the suspension of authorisations for selling these products was not successful, Panzaru suggested closing the booths by force.
The inspections of the sanitary doctors found that none of ingredients used for preparing oriental dishes corresponds to sanitary requirements. Moreover, in the collected tests there were discovered salmonella bacteria and other infections dangerous for health, sanitary doctors assert.
