Municipal Council to resume on Tuesday talks on increasing public transportation tariffs

The Chisinau Municipal Council will examine on Tuesday, July 25, the issue discussed at the previous meeting and namely settling the tariffs in the public transport of Chisinau municipality. Issues on approving the statute of the Municipal Enterprises “Romanian Language’s Home – Nichita Stanescu” and the “One man show theatre” are included on the agenda of the meeting. As well the Regulations and the staff charts of the Architecture and Urbanism General Department, Public Transport and Communication Ways General Direction, Municipal Department for the Protection of Children’s Rights and of the Social-Ecologic department will be examined. At the same time the councilors will debate the Municipal Action Plan “Children with Disabilities” for 2006-2007, the Municipal Program of prophylactics and diabetes fighting “MoldDiab” for 2006-2010. As well the Plan on full, reduced and civil (alternative) military service for Chisinau’s recruits in the autumn of 2006 will be discussed. The councilors will also examine the issue of giving a park from Chisinau the name of the Russian writer Nicolai Gogol. CMC meeting will start at 11:00.
