The police and the National Road Transport Agency are strictly monitoring the movement of persons to polling stations. Mobile teams are patrolling all over the country. Besides the regular passenger routes, the movement of units of transports with more than eight passengers is not allowed, IPN quoted deputy head of the General Police Inspectorate Marin Maxian as saying in a press briefing.

Marin Maxian noted that 23 alleged violations of the electoral process were reported by 11am. There were signaled two cases of campaigning, two attempts to block roads, six incidents with ballot papers, mostly attempts to photograph these, four cases of organized transportation of voters, three incidents with the mobile ballot box on which the CEC is to pronounce and six instances of indecent behavior, such as aggression, inebriation and attempts to exert pressure on electoral bureau members, besides those reported in the morning.

The General Police Inspectorate said any action to block the electoral process entails criminal liability. The police are examining all the reported violations.
