A 26-year-old man died after he lost control of his motorcycle and ran this into an obstacle by the roadside close to Prepelița village of Sângerei district. His passenger was rushed to the hospital with injuries.
Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the Sângerei Police Inspectorate Ina Banari said the young man who was from Sângerei district was riding his motorcycle on the G-56 regional road and had a 19-year-old girl from Telenești district as a passenger. He suddenly crashed his vehicle into a road sign.
The motorcycle driver died on the spot. His passenger was taken to the Sângerei District Hospital for medical care.
