Swimming sports school no.11 from the capital hosted a new edition of Moldova’s Swimming Cup. The competition was attended by athletes from Chisinau, Balti and Tiraspol, IPN reports.
Among women, most points were earned by Tatiana Chișca - 2166 FINA, after three breaststroke victories. On three distances, Tatiana Salcuțan prevailed in backstroke style. She accumulated 2031 points and received the title of "Master in sports" in the competition.
As for male athletes, for the second consecutive year, Nichita Bortnicov prevailed. He came out on top in three freestyle distances (1899 points) and three backstroke distances (1621 points).
