Moldova's President to visit Brussels

President of Moldova Vladimir Voronin will pay an official visit to Brussels on December 5 and 6. He will have a number of meetings with European and NATO officials, the presidential press service informs, quoted by Info-Prim Neo.
On the first day of the visit, the head of state will meet with the European Commissioner for Energy Andris Piebalgs, the Chairman of the Committee for European Affairs of the New York State Bar Association Mark A. Meyer, the European Parliament President Hans-Gert Poettering and with the European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy Benita Ferrero-Waldner.
On the second day, Vladimir Voronin will have meetings with the President of the Chamber of Representatives of Belgium Herman Van Rompuy, NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer, EU Trade Commissioner Peter Mandelson and with the EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Marian Fischer Boel.
In Brussels, Vladimir Voronin will meet with the High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy Javier Solana.
In the evening of December 6, Vladimir Voronin will return to Chisinau.
