Track and field athletes Nina Căpățînă and Iuliana Dagija won the Balkan U18 Championships that took place in Istanbul (Turkey), IPN reports.
Nina Căpățînă (pictured) competed in the weight throw and got the result of 17.34 meters. Iuliana Dabija competed in triple jump with the result of 13.13 meters.
Ilie Vasilache won the third place in javelin throw with the result of 59.74 meters.
The next tournament for these athletes will be Baku 2019 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival later this month.
