Donors are also expected in Cahul, at the National Transfusion Center on Mateevici St  from 8 am to 3 pm. In Comrat, blood will be colleced at the Distric Hospital from from 8 am to 2 pm.

According to the Ministry, current blood stocks in Moldova generally cover the demand entirely. Over 70,000 donations are made each year to cover blood transfusion therapy for about 21,000 patients. In 2018, non-remunerated blood donations accounted for 93.6 percent of the total.
