Moldovan swimmers won 19 medals, 11 of which golds, at an international tournament that was held in the Bulgarian city of Burgas, IPN reports.
Four gold medals were won by Nikita Bortnicov. Nicolae Pcela returned with three golds, while Anastasia Basisto and Valeria Ohotskaya with two each.
Pavel Alovatskii and Ecaterina Cojocari also won medals, while Maxim Cojocari and Andrian Gonta were very close to medalling.
The competition involved over 400 athletes from seven countries.
