After a period of five years, Moldovan singer Mihaela Chisnencu won the second trophy of the greatest Romanian singing contest for children and adolescents “Children’s Mamaia”, this time as part of the band “ViVox”, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Ass he won the trophy of 2006, Mihaela could not compete in the individual section. That’s why this year she performed together with the band of the studio “ViVox”, managed by composer Viorel Gavrila.
”Participation as part of a band is hard and easy at the same time,” the singer told Info-Prim Neo. “It is easy because you are helped by the colleagues when performing, but it is hard because you dance a lot while singing. You must present an exceptional show and cannot make mistakes when moving. However, it is difficult to sing and dance simultaneously.” The song of “Vivox” – “Mirage of the Scene” – written by Viorel Gavrila was sung in four voices.
This spring, “Vivox” ranked second at the Italian festival “San-Remo Junior”.
At “Children’s Mamaia 2011”, Moldova was also represented by Valeria Pasa from Balti, who won the Third Prize in the 13-15 age bracket.
In 2006, Mihaela Chisnencu won the trophy of “Children’s Mamaia” in the individual singing section, with the song “For Her”, written by the late Grigore Vieru and Ion Aldea-Teodorovici. Since then until last year, the Moldovan singers did not achieve great results in the contest. In 2010, Stefan Roscovan won the Top Prize when singing as part of the band “Soliaris”.
The trophy of Mamaia is the second trophy won by Mihaela Chisnencu this year. In May, the singer obtained the trophy of the “Child Smile” festival, while in June she took the second position in the contest “Constellation of Juniors”. Now Mihaela is preparing for the international festival “Champions’ League” staged by Mihai Traistariu in Rasnov, Brasov. The festival is intended for holders of trophies and top prizes from Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Italy, Malaysia and other countries.
