A number of Romania- Moldova collaboration projects were won by Moldovan researchers in a competition conducted by the Romanian Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization through the Executive Unit for Financing Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation.
The competition aims to strengthen existing research networks and develop new collaborations between groups of researchers from Romania and Moldova. Capitalizing on the expertise potential of researchers, strengthening the professional positions and career advancement of researchers, as well as collaboration to jointly participate in international research platforms are among the objectives of this initiative, says the Moldovan Ministry of Education and Research.
In the “Collaboration projects with the Republic of Moldova” competition, Moldovan researchers won with 38 projects, valued at a total of 20 million Romanian lei, in fields such as exact sciences and engineering, school sciences and humanities, and life sciences.
