The exhibition “The Republic of Moldova Presents” will be mounted in Cluj-Napoca in May. Applications to take part can be submitted to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova until April 30. It is the first event of the five planned following the signing of an agreement between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova and partners from Romania, the Chamber’s chairman Sergiu Harea told a news conference.
He noted that the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development will cover a part of the costs associated with participation in this event. Over 60 Moldovan companies, including businesses operating in the wine industry, the agrifood sector and cosmetics, are expected to take part in this event in “Parcul Mare” in Cluj.
After a hiatus of four years, Moldovan products will be again exhibited in Brasov. Companies operating in the agrifood sector, light industry, wine industry, perfumery, handicrafts are invited to file applications to take part in the exhibition “The Republic of Moldova Presents” until May 31. According to Sergiu Harea, after taking part in this event the previous years, a number of national companies launched businesses in Brasov and even opened shops there.
The exhibitions will include business forums and bilateral meetings. “Romania is the main commercial partner of the Republic of Moldova. Trade between the Republic of Moldova and Romania in 2022 exceeded US$3 billion,” stated the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. He noted that all the measures will be taken to promote the national companies on the local and international markets so as to ensure the sustainable growth of the national economy.
Sergiu Harea also said that the deadline for applications to compete in the contests “Trademark of the Year” and “Quality Achievement Award” will be extended until April 7.
