The national football team’s captain Alexandru Epureanu was lent by Dinamo Moscow to Anji Mahachkala, which ranks the last but one in Russia’s championship after six stages played, IPN reports.

The best Moldovan footballer had been in reserve at Dinamo for a period. After six new footballers came to the team, his chances to play decreased considerably. It will be the third Russian club contracting Epureanu, after FC Moscow and Krylia Sovetov Samara. With Anji, the 26-year-old fullback will play in the Europa League groups this season.

Moldovan goalkeeper Stanislav Namashko signed with FC Domzale of Slovenia, which plays in the Upper League. The previous season, Domzale took the third position in the rankings and won the right to play in the European Cups, but was eliminated from the competition in the first qualifying round.

Moldova manager Ion Caras included Epureanu and Namashko in the extended lineup for the September 6 match against England, of the 2014 World Championship qualifiers.
