Moldovan industrial outputs drop 6.4%

The industrial outputs of Moldova have decreased by 6.4% in the first half of the year, in comparison with the same period of 2005, dropping Moldova in a CIS ranking.
According to the Statistics Committee of the Commonwealth, the Republic of Moldova is the last but one in this ranking, outrunning only Kyrgyzstan, where the industrial outputs decreased by 6.8%. Armenia registered a 1% decrease.
The other CIS members registered evolutions in industrial outcomes. Azerbaijan ranks first, with a 40% increase, followed by Turkmenistan – 22.4% and Belarus – 12.6%.
The report lacks data related to Georgia and Uzbekistan.
