A man was killed and two were hurt in a traffic accident in Ciocarlia de Sus village of Constanta County this morning, July 8. The accident involved a TIR truck and a bus without passengers, IPN reports, quoting Mediafax.
According to representatives of the Constanta Traffic Police, the accident happened at about 04:30am, at an intersection in Ciocarlia de Sus, when the driver of the bus registered in Moldova didn’t give right of way. The vehicle was struck by the truck moving legally. There were no passengers in the bus, only the two drivers.
As a result of the impact, the reserve driver from the bus was projected out of the vehicle and died on the spot. The man who was driving suffered serious injuries. The truck driver was also seriously hurt and an extrication team of the Constanta Emergencies Inspectorate was needed to take him out of the vehicle.
The two men hurt were taken by ambulances to the Constanta County Emergency Hospital.
