Moldovan dancers win 7 medals at 2016 German Open Championships

Moldovan dancers won 7 medals – one gold, two silver and four bronze – at the German Open Championships, which took place in Stuttgart, Germany, between August 9 and 14, IPN reports.

In the WDSF GrandSlam Latin category, Gabriele Goffredo and Anna Matus from Moldova won the first place. Iaroslav Zara and Valeria Gumeniuc ranked 2nd in the GOC Youth 10-Dance competition. Moldova’s second silver medal was won by Bogdan Ursoi and Arina Romanenco in the GOC Juveniles I Standard category.

Bogdan Ursoi and Arina Romanenco also won a bronze medal in the GOC Juveniles I 6-Dance contest. The other bronze medals were won by Vladimir Cebanu and Sofia Chiorescu in GOC Juveniles II 8-Dance and Vladislav Untu and Alexandrina Olteanu in GOC Junior II Latin and GOC Junior II 10-Dance categories.
