The Moldovan boxers have had two defeats in the World Boxing Championship held in the Italian town of Milan. Alexandru Rascan (51kg class) was beaten by Cubaʼs Yampier Hernandez by 14-2, while Vasile Belous (69kg) lost to Imre Balazs Bacskai from Hungary by 17-4, Info-Prim Neo reports. The last two representatives of Moldova, Vladimir Cheles (81kg) and Mihail Muntean (91kg) will enter the competition the next days. Veaceslav Gojan (54kg) and Victor Cotiujanschi (75kg) will continue fighting in their weight categories. More than 500 boxers from 143 countries are participating in the fifteenth World Boxing Championship.
