The Moldovan boxers left the EUBC European Youth Championships held in Antalya. Constantin Ursu and Adrian Buhaniuc had the best performance. They stopped in the quarterfinals, IPN reports.
Ursu from Chisinau competed in the 64 kg weight class, while Buhaniuc from Orhei contended in the 81 kg class. The EUBC European Youth Championships also involved Victor Conopliov (56 kg), Davron Bozorov (60 kg), Ahmed Cemortan (69 kg), Vadim Risiuc (91 kg) and Andrei Zaplitnyi (plus 91 kg).
The competition in Turkey brought together 199 boxers from 33 countries.
