The national women’s football team of Moldova suffered the third defeat in the qualifying competition of the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup. Moldova was trounced by Portugal away 0-8, IPN reports.
Mendes opened the score in the 19th minute, while Kushinova in the 32nd minute scored an own goal. After the break, Costa and Marquez scored by two goals, while Diana Silva and Dolores Silva scored later from penalties.
Earlier, the team trained by Alina Stetsenkp lost away to Italy 0-5 and to Belgium 0-12. Moldova plays the next match against Italy at home on April 6.
