Moldova won two bronze medals at the international karate tournament “Lviv Cup” that involved about 800 athletes from 11 countries, IPN reports.
Nicolai Bondarev won bronze in seniors’ competition, while Andrea Axenti medalled bronze in juniors’ competition. Ion Hasan ranked fifth in juniors’ Kumite.
Andrea Axenti and Ion Hasan have chances to qualify for the Youth Olympic Games of Buenos Aires.
