Moldovan wrestlers won three bronze medals at the sixth WTE European Taekwondo Clubs Championships that took place in Istanbul during February 6-8, 2018, IPN reports.
According to the Sports Press Association, on the first day of the tournament Moldova’s Alin Manole won bronze in the 53kg weight class. He won two fights and yielded the first two places to the representatives of Turkey.
On the second day, junior fighter Danila Lupolov, 73 kg class, won bronze in the semifinal against Azerbaijan’s Umud Afandiyev. Sergey Uscov, who competed in the 58 kg class seniors, also medaled bronze. In the semifinal, he lost to Georgii Gurtsiev of Russia 10–12.
