Meteorologists have issued a yellow code fog warning for the upcoming night and the first part of Friday. According to forecasts, widespread fog with visibility of 200 meters or less is expected, IPN reports.
The State Hydrometeorological Service specifies that the weather warning is valid starting at midnight until Friday at 12:00.
Drivers are advised to turn on fog lights, drive at reduced speeds, and maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.
Additionally, light rain and winds with a speed of 18 km/h are forecast for tomorrow.
Chisinau City Hall is urging citizens to exercise caution and, in case of problematic situations, to contact the municipal central dispatcher at (022) 22-22-67, (022) 22-26-04, or call the emergency number 112.
