The Under-21 football team of Moldova was trounced by the squad of Bosnia and Herzegovina 0-4 in the first match of the qualifying competition of the 2021 UEFA European Championship, IPN reports.

The match played in Sarajevo started one hour late owing to snow. The hosts opened the score in the 24th minute through Besim Serbecic and doubled its advantage before the break through Zinedin Mustedanagic. In the second half, the team trained by Sergiu Kleshchenko got two more goals. The same Zinedin Mustedanagic scored for 3-0 in the 55th minute, while Marijan Cavar set the final scoreline in the 73rd minute.

Moldova plays the next match at home against Wales on October 11.
