The Government of the Republic of Moldova offered a batch of products and equipment that can help alleviate the consequences of the recent floods experienced by Ukraine, the Ministry of Home Affairs has said.
The column of motor vehicles set off to Ukraine from the head office of the Ministry’s General Inspectorate for Emergencies in the morning of June 27. The aid is taken to Cernăuți, which is one of the worst-hit regions of Ukraine, IPN reports.
The humanitarian aid consists of generators, motor saws, motor pumps and polypropylene bags.
The recent heavy rain seriously affected regions in western Ukraine, such as Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Transcarpatia, Ternopil and Cernăuți.
