The Moldova Support Platform helped the country to overcome a series of crises. It helped to build resilience, to ensure the green transition, to develop infrastructure, to increase energy efficiency, etc., Deputy Prime Minister Nicu Popescu, Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, stated in the fourth meeting of the Platform held in Chisinau, IPN reports.
Nicu Popescu noted that the presence of the over 50 delegations at the Moldova Support Platform Summit is another proof of the support Moldova receives at European and international levels.
The official said that Moldova’s actions and plan for joining the European Union, for meeting the European standards are discussed at today’s event.
“The Moldova Support Platform is an inestimable instrument that supported the Republic of Moldova to cope with the risks, the multiple crises and challenges that emerged as a result of the unjust war that is being waged by Russia on Ukraine. In almost a year of the Paris Conference of November 21, 2022, we came together today in the heart of Moldova, Chisinau, to underline an extremely important aspect: owing to the support of our friends, Moldova today is no longer that Moldova of March 2022,” stated the Deputy Premier.
