The Republic of Moldova has signed a Declaration of Intent on the implementation of the International Volunteering in Enterprise (V.I.E.) program, which offers young French and European Economic Area nationals aged between 18 and 28 the opportunity to carry out professional internships in the branches of French companies in Moldova or in their partners, IPN reports.
The Declaration of Intent E was signed in Paris by Deputy Prime Minister Mihai Popsoi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Benjamin Haddad, Minister Delegate for European Affairs of the French Republic.
"With this initiative, the Republic of Moldova joins an international network that supports skills exchange and business development. The V.I.E. program not only facilitates joint projects, but also contributes to strengthening bilateral economic relations and attracting talent," said Minister Mihai Popsoi.
The officials attended the opening of the France - Republic of Moldova Business Forum. In his speech opening the event, the head of Moldovan diplomacy emphasized the importance of bilateral economic cooperation and the role of French investments in the development of the Republic of Moldova.
"France is an important partner of the Republic of Moldova, and our economic relations have potential for growth. French investments will contribute to the modernization of industry and job creation," the official said.
The France-Republic of Moldova Business Forum reflects the commitment of both countries to strengthen cooperation in trade and in key sectors such as sustainable development, research, cultural exchanges and technological innovation.
