Moldova sends new envoy to UN

Alexandru Cujba was appointed by the Government as Moldova's Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Info-Prim Neo reports. Nominated to the post by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Cujba is yet to be approved by presidential decree. Prior to this office, Alexandru Cujba served as Deputy Permanent Representative to UN and earlier held a variety of posts with the MFA. Cujba will replace Alexei Tulbure, recently summoned back from New Yourk. Also at its Thursday's meeting, the Government empowered Moldova's Ambassador to Ukraine to sign the agreement for the purchase of headquarters for the Moldovan diplomatic mission in Kiev.
