The national futsal team of Moldova played two exhibition matches against the similar squad of Bulgaria almost two months before the qualifying competition for the 2020 FIFA Futsal World Cup, IPN reports.
Moldova beat Bulgaria twice by 5-1 and 3-2. Captain Sergiu Tacot and Sergiu Nikolaichuk scored by two goals in these matches, with Constantin Burdujel, Iulian Cojocaru, Cristian Obadă and Andrian Lașcu also being among the scorers.
The matches that form part of the qualifying competition for the EURO 2020 will also be played at the Futsal Arena FMF in Ciorescu. The team trained by Vladimir Vusatyi competes in the group that includes England and Israel.
