Moldova pays 66.5m lei dues and debts to international and regional organizations

The Cabinet approved the allocation of 66.547,5 million lei for paying Moldova’s dues and outstanding dues to international and regional organizations, IPN reports.

The financial resources were allocated for paying dues to 67 international and regional organizations: five parliamentary organizations, 55 international organizations and seven organizations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

A sum of 61.029,5 million lei (about 91.7%) will be used to pay dues to international organizations, while 5.518 million lei will go to clear the debts to the Intentional Labor Organization and the common CIS budget for the previous years.

The budget allocations for the purpose this year are by 6.6% or about 4.1 million lei higher than those approved for 2022.
